My Wedding Portfolio
Here is a selection of some of my favourite wedding photographs that I have taken over the last eleven years. This collection focuses more on the couples, while the ‘Best of’ and Real Wedding galleries feature whole wedding days.
Many of my couples have a love of the countryside and want informal photos, so I enjoy taking photographs filled with natural light, strong colour, genuine emotions and plenty of fun! I hope this comes across in this collection of photos and you can view real weddings, from the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations, back on the main Wedding Photography page.
While I will be perfectly honest and say that I am quite a traditionalist when it comes to wedding photography, I wouldn’t say this is a bad thing. For me, family group photos are integral for your family history and these can be done swiftly and efficiently with planning beforehand, I’ll provide you with my Photography List so you can tick all of the photos you would like me to take. Photographs of your dress and all your jewellry, flowers and perfume makes for a lovely image and opening to a wedding album, recording the special touches you chose for your beautiful bridal look.
This said, after photographing many many weddings on my own I’ve taken the traditional teachings my mentor, Andy, taught me all those years ago and have added in a modern day twist! A wedding day is all about those around you, so I love to keep the group photos efficient so you can mingle and laugh with your guests for as long as possible, I value taking you both off after the meal for couple portraits, when there is a natural lull in the wedding day, so your guests don’t even realise you’ve gone. I enjoy taking couple portraits that are genuine and not cringy, as who wants to look back at their photos and think ‘that just isn’t us!’, and get a buzz from taking portraits of a bride & her parents, before she leaves for the ceremony, knowing all the heartfelt emotions in the room are being captured in the photos in that moment.
Often guests think I am good friends with my couples, as I am on good terms with them, and I feel this is as I invest time to get to know them and want them to have the best day of their lives. In my mind, it’s a real privilege to document a wedding and to produce a wedding album that is going to be look back on by yourselves, your parents, your children and future generations. This alone is why I’m so passionate about doing the best I can for each of my couples.

“Craig, Thanks again for all your hard work on our wedding day. You truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly and it was great to have you around as part of the wedding. We really couldn’t have asked for more and the amazing photographs that you have produced really do speak for themselves!
Several of the guests have since commented on your good manner; it’s great to have a photographer who is friendly and gets involved with all the fun aspects of the day whilst retaining keen attention to detail and a high standard of professionalism throughout, and producing excellent results. Thanks again!”
