Charlotte & Henry

Charlotte & Henry wed at Buxted Church on 5th August.

Charlotte got ready with her bridesmaids and family at her Mum’s home, where the reception also took place, while Henry met his groomsmen at the local pub. Their ceremony took place at their local Church, in Buxted, and the couple were blessed with some amazing weather, between bursts of rather heavy showers, which made for some frantic dashes for cover from their guests!!

As a horse loving family, Charlotte arrived at the Church in a trap which was driven by a family friend and the whole wedding was filled with loving touches from those close to them. The catering was done by Charlotte’s Uncle who flew over from New Zealand, the flowers decorations were done by her Mum, their dog was the ringbearer and everyone got involved with decorating the marquee in the lead up to the day. Sometimes the most personal and moving touches are not the most expensive, and this couldn’t be truer for their special day!

The day was filled with plenty of time for them to mingle with their guests and for everyone to enjoy the day, catching up with relatives and friends, with a few couple photographs after the meal. The evening carried on much the same way, with a full on party late into the evening and we ended the night with a backlit portrait of Charlotte and Henry, framed with some lanterns and an overhanging tree.

Along with myself, the day was documented with a second photographer so Henry’s morning preparations could be recorded, along with providing a second angle during the ceremony and drinks reception.
