For the first time I entered The Wedding Industry Awards ‘Wedding Photographer of the Year’ and was delighted to reach the Regional Finals earlier this month.
Sadly I didn’t win, but to be honest I feel as though I have won through simply having such a fantastic year and providing work for over twenty beautiful and brilliantly fun couples!
Here are the photographs I submitted to the judging panel and if anyone had told me I would create a body of work like this I would have bitten their arm off for it! With the development of my low light evening shots, the use of sparklers, the improvements in my posing of couples and general confidence I feel I have really taken this year on and grown as a photographer.
