‘My Hickstead’ 2016

In the Summer of ’16 I photographed the Equestrian.com Derby Meet and Longines Royal International Horse Show for the All England Showjumping Course at Hickstead. My role was to be the ‘Official Press Photographer’ which entailed supplying Hickstead with press images of the winners of classes, programme photos for next year, sponsors shots, trade pictures and anything else that sums up the beauty of ‘Horse Shows at Hickstead’.

This collection of 90 or so images brings together some of my favourite photographs from the two world famous Shows and reflects many of the aspects that so many people love about them: from the atmosphere, the personalities, the superb jumping, the characterful setting, the iconic jumps, the striking horses, the showing classes and more.

I hope you enjoy looking through my images and I was so pleased to hear Lizzie Bunn, one of the Directors of the Showground, was ‘delighted’ with my work. She has since asked me to photograph in the same role in 2017 and I can not wait for June to come around!
