Equine Photo Shoots

There is an unspeakable bond between an equestrian and their horse. It is a friendship that means they both value each other on equal merit and have an understanding, built on seeing each other every day, without fail.

Horses are where my professional photography career began and I still truly value the caring eye of an equine, their natural beauty and their willingness to please. This is brought to the forefront when in a photo shoot, where my hope is to capture the friendship a horse & owner share in a series of natural, semi-posed images that really sum up the spark the pair have.

Your session can include both in-hand and ridden photos, along with at liberty images of your horse enjoying having the sun on his or her back. You are welcome to make an outfit change and I promise to take photos based on what you want, so you can truly cherish the pictures.

Your Photo Shoot during June, July & August

I am really excited to be offering equine photo shoots again! With Lockdown has come the postponement of the weddings I had booked in, and as a result my Summer is free to offer equine shoots once again. I always loved doing these, but had to stop offering them due to my wedding photography commitments.

For the months of June, July and August only I am offering the following Collections:

A one and a half hour photo shoot, including one mounted 10 by 8 inch print – £95

A one and a half hour photo shoot, including 10 digital images supplied on a glass USB in a presentation box and three mounted 10 by 8 inch prints – £250 (normally £295)

A one and a half hour photo shoot, including 20 digital images supplied on a glass USB in a presentation box, a 10 by 10 inch Photographic Book and three mounted 10 by 8 inch prints – £500 (normally £605)

After the session I will give your photos a basic edit and will upload them onto a password protected gallery. After viewing these you can order the pieces included in your Collection, along with additional outcomes including more digital images, a photo book, framed prints, canvas wraps and mounted prints.

My Portfolio

Myself & Horses

For ten years I professionally photographed horses and while my work is (in normal times) focused on Wedding Photography, I still enjoy spending time with these beautiful creatures. My best friend, sister and many other friends regularly ride and I love seeing the friendships they have all formed with their equine friends. It was in fact seeing these bonds that lead me to start offering photo shoots, back in 2008!

While also offering equine portrait sessions I am proud to say that for two years I was the Official Press Photographer at the All England Jumping Course, Hickstead, I was the Event Photographer for the Southdown Hunt East Pony Club for over six years, I am one of the Official Photographers for South East Point to Point Races and have been the Official Photographer for the National Equine Form, in London, for the last ten years.
