It was a pleasure to create a photographing record of this excellent Gin Tasting Event at Hendall Manor Barns last month. The following text has been taken from Chailey Heritage Foundation’s Official News Release, here.

On 12th April 2018, Folkington’s organised a spectacular Sussex Gin & Tonic Tasting in aid of Chailey Heritage Foundation.

Set at the beautiful Hendall Manor Barns, we were delighted to attend and enjoyed an evening of festivities and fundraising.

We were joined by 7 local distilleries, giving the guests the opportunity to try their Sussex gins. Those who joined us were:

• Mayfield Gin
• Seven Sisters
• Brighton Gin
• Foxhole Spirits
• Harley House Distillery
• Tom Cat Gin
• Slake Spirits

Folkington’s were also in attendance, providing tonic water in a variety of flavours.

As well as the tastings, we were treated to a talk from Ellie Dobing of Brighton Gin on the history of gin. There were also talks from Folkington’s about tonic water and Chailey Heritage Foundation, to remind everyone what the evening was in aid of.

Through ticket sales, the raffle and kind donations on the night, we managed to raise an incredible £2,961.06! All funds raised will go towards the D.R.E.A.M. Centre.
