On Saturday 30th May 2015, 70 young & old gathered at Patricks Barn, West Hoathley, for a traditional barn dance with cowboy fancy dress to raise funds for the Emile Faurie Foundation and Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance! With live music and calling from D’Arcy Spice (www.darcyspice.co.uk) and delicious food from The Garden Chef, a thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and £460 was raised!
The organiser Craig Payne, local equine and wedding photographer, said “This was my second year holding a charity barn dance and just like last year I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better!”. The raffle went done very well with kind donations from The Sussex Ox pub (Wilmington), Amanda Bliss from Forever Living, Craig Payne, the two charities and more.
You can view a video of footage that Craig recorded via this link and he has every intention of holding another dance in 2016, so keep your eyes out for more info!!
