My Charity Barn Dance!

Howdy All!

With the same level of yee-haw, toe tappin’, straw coverin’ delight we are going to fill the hall with cowboy & cowgirls of all ages for an evening of dancing to the live music & calling of D’Arcy Spice, the same band I have used for previous years. The very best local produce will be dished out for a tasty ploughmans followed by homemade desserts, all washed down with a glass or two from our bar!

The dance is being held on Saturday 9th April at Wivelsfield Village Hall, Eastern Rd, Haywards Heath RH17 7QH in aid of St Peter & St James Hospice and the Rural Agricultural Benevolent Institution.

We start tying up our horses at 7pm and hop in our wagons at 11:30pm. Tickets are £20 per person, £18 if you purchase before 14th Feb, and this includes as much dancing as your boots will take, a delicious ploughmans meal using local produce & delightful homemade dessert and a fancy dress theme of ‘Cowboys & Cowgirls’ with prizes for the best dressed boys & gals!

Local producers include High Weald Dairy Cheese, Fellows of Ardingly Bakery, Ouse Valley Foods, Denniker Farm Shop, 360 Brewing Company and Black Pig Orchard.

Every penny of the profits going to the two charities and you can purchase your tickets HERE.

Your ticket(s), along with an in-depth guide for the evening, will be posted to you by our postman upon his trusty steed. There will be no tickets for sale at the saloon doors and I will require the names of your clan before I send your tickets.

Craig photographed our wedding last week at Hendall manor barns. When we first saw his work we knew straight away that... we wanted him to photograph our wedding. He is the nicest person and so professional, nothing is too much trouble for him. He visited our venue with us before the day, listened to ideas we had, was always just a phone call away if we had any questions. Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him that’s for sure. Craig absolutely made our wedding - we can offer him no higher praise. He was incredibly relaxed and helped the bride... to keep calm, even through some last minute changes to her preparations, with which he was beyond helpful and flexible with his schedule. He kept us running on time in concert with the venue and was a constant source of good humour, with not a cross word or raised voice the entire day. To top it all off, he stayed well beyond the first dance and ended up leaving at around 11pm, having started before 9am. We booked Craig to photograph our wedding on the 10th of November 2018 after meeting him whilst he was photographing... our friends wedding the previous year. At this time we thought Craig must have been their friend or family member as he made everyone so comfortable and was such a friendly face at their wedding. Once we found out he was actually their photographer and that he came with glowing reviews we had to book him!
