I have been privileged to work with many wedding suppliers over the last ten years and here is a list of some of those I have been wow’d by! All of these suppliers have produced work for my own couples so I can hand on heart say they will provide a superb service.
Spade and Spoon – Beautifully tasting food that is thoughtfully put together and presented. Dan offers a brilliant option if you are looking for high quality and great flavours with an emphasis on local produce.
The Garden Chef – Becky and her team are a quintessentially British countryside catering company offering high quality rustic food. They can also supply a full bar and know many fantastic local underground rural suppliers.
Bluebell Vineyard – Bluebell Vineyard produce the delicious Hindleap English Sparkling Wine. If you’re looking for flavorsome bubbly that leaves a lasting impression then look no further! Mention my name and have a free wine tasting with your partner and parents!
Hair & Make-Up
IDo Bridal Hair – Collette offers an exceptional service and her bubbly yet professional personality suits the bridal preparations perfectly. When I have worked with her she has always gone above and beyond what is expected.
Sharon Roberts Hair – Sharon is a very talent, Nationally award winning hair dresser who produces beautiful hair that stands the tests of a long day!
Southern Transit Bus Company – Authentic London buses from ‘back in the day’ with all the nostalgic touches you would expect, including a traditional ticket stub for each of your guests!
Silverswift – Affordable and quality, Silverswift offers a brilliant service and friendly smile for those looking for a smart and simple Mercedes, based in Newick.
Bands & DJs
D’Arcy Spice – The most fantastic barn dance band with two callers! I have worked with D’Arcy Spice to hold three charity barn dances and cannot recommend them highly enough. Fun, friendly, enthusiastic and brilliant musicians that make everyone feel welcome on the dance floor!
Good Company Band – Lead by a brilliant female lead singer who is surrounded by full-time musicians these guys offer acoustic sets for background music through to full on, party sets based on 80’s covers through to the Top 20 hits. They’re named after the Queen song ‘Good Company’!
Oomphf! Band are a funk/pop band full of talented musicians who happily mash up Queen, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Vanilla Ice!!
John Adams – A semi-finalist in The X Factor, John is a Welshmen full of fun, amazing singing style and ability to sing songs that you want! His rendition of ‘I’m the sing of the Wingers’ made for a fantastic dancelfoor filler!!
Chris Kennedy – An enthusiastic and warm jazz and swing singer who plays piano on his own, as a trio or with a full band. Chris is a true lover of music and this can be heard through his playing of both old classics and twists on modern tunes.
Steel Strum – This innovative, fun and enthusiastic duo combine their steel drum and guitars to create brilliant background music or the main sound for an evening of celebrations.
Fake Tan – These guys are a band like no other: slick, modern, creative and covered in glitter! They are guaranteed to get the party started and here is a video I recorded at a party I photographed.
DJ John Page Houghton – Along with experience of being a club DJ John has an impressive (the best I have seen at a wedding) lighting and sound set up that sets the tone for the night!
DJ Brian Mole – I am yet to meet a more approachable, passionate and most of all, enthusiastic, DJ. Brian won the 2017 Wedding Industry Awards Regional Finals for his work and can bring ‘Pearls of Wisdom’ & Table Competition Cards, can orchestrate a Mr & Mrs Game, has a tomfoolery box and his DJ both is the front of a VW Camper Van!!
Inspired by Susie – Many people do not consider having a wedding planner, but when Susie can take control of any of your problems on the day, can make sure everything runs smoothly, can get you discounts on supplies and does this all with a professional and passionate approach I feel she is worth her weight in gold!
Teardrops Films – The best wedding videographer I have worked with to date! Matthew is relaxed, knowledgeable, fun and produces stunning videos.
Chris Spice Films – Chris is a young, enthusiastic and quality videographer who produces lovely video while being inconspicuous and fun.
Lyndsey Smith Artist – Lyndsey has produced delightful watercolour commissions for myself and my couples which act as lovely personalised invitations. She is based in Lewes and charges £100-150 for an A4 piece which can then be produced as your cards.
Roger Lapin, Magician – A friendly, charming and warm magician who is guaranteed to get people laughing with his magic.
Matt Wainwright, Magician – Based in Seaford Matt has a likable personality and offers fantastic close-up magic with a touch of jokery through in as well!
Milborrow Chimney Sweeps – If you’re looking for a lucky chimney sweep, dressed in the vintage attire with bike and cat, then give Milborrow a call. They are based in the Ashdown Forest and are the chimney sweeps for Her Royal Highness!
Blooming Lovely Cakes – Tasty and eye catching cakes from Nic, based on the dreams you have for your ideal wedding cake! Nic is based in Surrey but is more than happy to travel to discuss your cake and deliver it on your wedding day.
Beachside Bakery – Shortly after I photographed Sarah’s wedding in 2016 she set up her own bakery company in Worthing and offers beautifully presented, and very tasty, cakes!
De-Lights – Pauline offers a tasty chocolate fountain complete with various treats to smother in liquid gold, and ‘LOVE’ letters.
The Wedding Artist – A fun and fresh caricaturist, drawing all of your key wedding guests and yourselves so you and your guests have a qwerky gift to take home!
Flowercraft, Lindfield – Charlotte runs her own floristry just off Lindfield high street and always has a beautiful selection of flower for everyday bouquets. This also produces gorgeous bouquets for bridal parties and has always done a lovely job for me!
