Rural Life Photography

My grandparents spent their working lives on farms at the foot of the South Downs. Alongside their heavy horses they managed the estates and were country folk at heart; this way of life has carried on through the family.

I can think of nothing better than spending the day outside in the countryside. From the first day I picked up my camera I was out photographing nature, wildlife and rural ways.

This gallery of 60 or so photos shows a glimpse into the last ten years I have spent in the British rural world with my camera. From taking sunset photos at harvest time, to following the local Foxhound and Bloodhound packs, to photographing the wildlife and pheasant shoots, to our own pekin bantams and dairy cows crossing the road for milking in Fletching.

Some of these photos are available as greeting cards for £2.00 each and all are available as mounted and framed prints.
